Review of 'The red tent / Anita Diamant.' on 'Goodreads'

5 stars

I love The Red Tent. It's only loosely based on Dinah's story in genesis, and Diamant admits that she takes creative license with Israelite life. When taken as what it is, it is a great book. The characters are real and engaging. It's a great book to imagine a different story, a version of the story where women's stories are valued and told.
