This book was just okay. The twists were delicious, but I didn't really care for any of the characters that much; they were mostly insufferable to be honest. There were also portions of the book that lent too much space to climate change conspiracy, even if it was meant to highlight the lack of awareness / willful denial. Ian McEwan writes well, but this wasn't a memorable story.
Favorite part: highly unpleasant prescriptive grammarian getting owned by a mechanic(?)
