I stopped using bookwyrm and then the amount I was reading started to fall. I am back now with the hope that I will get back to reading more.

I'm a college student studying to become a librarian. I generally have an interest in books on technology, activism, and fantasy. I am open to trying other types of books if they catch my interest.

I enjoyed the first book in the series. The world seemed pretty interesting, so I'm looking forward to how the world expands in this one.

Михаил Афанасьевич Булгаков: The Master and Margarita (Paperback, 1996, Vintage International)

The first complete, annotated English Translation of Mikhail Bulgakov's comic masterpiece.

An audacious revision …

To be honest I didn't really understand this one. It felt like a lot was going on and I had a hard time keeping track of it all. There were quite a few story lines that were fun, but I felt like they often got cut off too soon to move on to something else, but that might just be because I'm used to a long main story.

I enjoyed reading this. The mystery and drama was fun. There were some moments that felt like edgy fan fiction, but those were few and far between. The book felt pretty short, but that is probably just because I'm used to really long stories. It's also part of a series, so I can compare this to the first ark of a longer story in which case it has a fine length.

The Dresden Files was recommended to me by my library. I'm looking forward to reading this and maybe the next books in the series.

I loved the book. There were quite a few story lines that intertwined and I always looked forward to the intersections. There were a lot of characters I really enjoyed as well. The ending had me on the edge of my seat since I was so attached to the characters by that point and was hoping for the best for them.
